Treasurionary

This section will include new words with interesting meanings. They may be useful in your writing! 

1.     coddiwomple (obviously!!): to travel in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination
2.     selenophile: a person who likes the moon and stars
3.     tacenda: things better left unsaid; matters to be passed over in silence 
4.     hiraeth: a longing for one's homeland, but it's not mere homesickness. It's an expression of the bond one feels with one's home country when one is away from it.
5.     selcouth: marvelous, rare 
6.     argute: shrewd
7.     cerulean: deep sky blue <3 
8.     chad: a piece of waste paper resulting from punching a hole
9.     fankle: to entangle something
10. guddle: to fish with one's hand by groping under the stones or bank of  river or stream
11. hoddy-noddy: a foolish person
12. mixologist: a person who is skilled at mixing cocktails and other drinks
13. nacarat: a bright orange-red color
14. nesh: delicate, feeble 
15. rawky: foggy, damp and cold

  1. Let me tell you one thing, I'm fond with new yet, not usually used, vocabulary. You know the feeling of digging for gold just to brush the dust away from the old box, to reveal ancient gold. The feeling you get when touching the ancient wood and smelling the fragrance escaping from it is exactly what I feel when I find such words. They are my own treasure. I guess that is another thing in common between us. You should certainly have a look at my collection. I promise I'll be posting it soon.

  2. This is really a real treasure to add to one's vocabulary bank although not used much. I find it really helpful and useful to keep up a listed reservoir of added information to one's knowledge. Looking forward to read more of your treasure findings.
